14 oz Kraft caramels
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 pkg.German chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels with 1/3 evaporated milk in a separate kettle and set aside.

Combine dry cake mix,melted 3/4 cup butter,1/3 cup evaporated milk,and 1 cup chopped nuts in a big bowl.
Stir until dough holds together.
Press half of dough in 9 x13 inch pan.
Bake at 350 for about 6 minutes.

Pour melted caramel over baked layer.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over caramel layer and crumble remaining dough over that.
Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
Cool in refrigerator a short while to set caramel layer.
