½ cup butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 beaten egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tspbaking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking soda
¼ cup milk
6 ounces smi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup chopped maraschino cherries
½ cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350º
Grease baking sheets.

Cream butter and sugars.
Blend in egg and vanilla
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to cramed mixture, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in chocolate, cherries and nuts.

Place rounded teaspoons of dough on baking sheet and bake for 10 - 12 minutes.
