1 lb. margarine
1½ cups sugar
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
4½ cups flour
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions:
Cream together margarine and sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and add to wet. Bake at 375º F until light golden brown.
