1 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. marashino cherry juice
1/2 tsp. almond extract
6 drops red food coloring
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 C. marashino cherries, chopped
50 hershey kisses, unwrapped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat butter, powdered sugar, and salt until well blended. Add cherry juice, almond extract and food coloring. Gradually beat in flour. Stir in cherries. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place one inch apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes until bottoms are light brown. Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie. The cookie will crack around the edges. Let cool 2 minutes, then move to a cooling rack.
