1 - 16 oz. pkg. Penna pasta
12 - 15 slices bacon
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups whipping cream
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup sliced green onions

Cook pasta, set aside. Cook bacon, remove and reserve 2 tbsp. dripping in skillet.
Crumble bacon, set aside. Saute mushrooms and garlic in drippings 3 minutes or until tender.
Stir in pasta, cheese, whipping cream and pepper.
Simmer over medium low heat until sauce is thickened, stirring often. Stir in bacon and green onions.
Serve immediately.
