3/4 cup butter flavored crisco
1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup pecan or walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Cream Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Blend until creamy. Blend in egg. Combine flour, salt and baking soda and add gradually to creamed mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by tablespoons full 3" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 mins. for chewy or 11-13 minutes for crisp. Cool 2 mins. on cookie sheet then remove to rack to cool.
