1 pound cottage cheese
½ pound sugar
2½ heaping Tbsps flour
dash pf salt
dash of vanilla
2 eggs

vanilla wafer crumbs
whipped cream
toasted and crushed almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Grease a 6" round baking dish

Combine all ingredients, except the eggs and beat about 3 minutes.
Add the eggs and beat 3 minutes more.

Pour into pan, top with vanilla wafer crumbs, and bake about 40 minutes or until firm.

Chill until cold

Serve with whipped cream topping and toasted and crushed almonds.

This recipe was sent into the Washington D.C. Post in the 1940's by a young man (Mr. J.L.D.) who was a baker. He said he call the recipe "Au Revoir" because his friends say that the cheese cake 'sends them'.
