32 oz pkg frozen shredded hash browns
2 C cheddar cheese (shredded), or Colby Jack
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz sour cream
1/2 stick butter
1 onion, finely chopped (about 1/2 C)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Thaw hash browns. Mix onion and butter, and saute in microwave. Mix hash browns, onion and butter, and all remaining ingredients. In a 13" x 9" pan, bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until brown.
