Jalapeno Brownies Recipe

Al Bolle


1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
2 oz. Unsweetened chocolate. (Bakers brand works very well)
1 c sugar
2 eggs
2 t. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
1 can of 4 oz.diced jalapeno peppers, juice and all
(I prefer Ortega brand, but any brand will do)

Grease and flour 8 x 8" baking pan.

Melt butter and chocolate.
Remove from heat.
Stir in sugar; add eggs and vanilla and stir together.
Add flour and jalapeno peppers.
Pour into prepared pan.

Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.

You can omit the jalapeno and use 1/2 c of crushed walnuts; but I'd call you a sissy.
