2 cups boiling water
2 cups 100% ban cereal
3 cups brown sugar
1 cup shortening
4 eggs
1 qt buttermilk
5 cups flour
1 tsp salt
5 tsp soda
4 cups uncooked oats

Pour 2 cups of boiling water over 2 cups of 100% bran cereal
Cream brown sugar, shortening together
Add eggs, buttermilk, flour, salt, soda,
Add softened bran and uncooked oats
Spoon into well greased muffin tin 3/4 full
Bake at 375 for 20 to 25 mins.
