1 c. quick cook oats, uncooked
1 c. sugar
2T plus 1tsp flour
⅛ tsp salt
⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
dash ground nutmeg
½ c. melted butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ tsp almond extract





Directions:

Combine:
oats, sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg

Add:
melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, almond extract

Drop oat mixture by half teaspoonfuls (the smaller the better!) on aluminum foil-lined cookie sheets.

Bake at 350º for 6-8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely before carefully removing from foil.

Store in airtight container between sheets of wax paper.

Yield: ~ 6 dozen
