Cake:
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup water
2 cups flour
1 cup buttermilk (1 cup milk with 1 Tbsp. lemon juice can be substituted)
1 tsp. vanilla
4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp soda

Icing:
1 stick butter
6 Tbsp milk
4 Tbsp cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
dash salt
1 cup pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Melt butter, cocoa and water in small sauce pan. Pour over flour and sugar. Add beaten eggs to mixture. Add soda to buttermilk then add to mixture. Add vanilla.
Bake 30 minutes or until test done.

Icing:
Melt butter, milk and cocoa in saucepan. Pour over powdered sugar. Mix then add vanilla, salt and pecans. Pour over cake while it is still hot.
