Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Chicken Wings package (a drumstick package does work as well)
2 sticks of butter
2 32 oz bottles of Louisiana hotsauce
1 35 lb bottle of peanut oil for frying .

Optional if you have a second crockpot and want them more tangyt: bbq sauce

Directions:
Directions:
About 45 minutes to an hour before cooking add the two sticks of butter and most of the hot sauce in to a crock pot filling it halfway and bring up to a medium temperature. Add additional butter if needed to make the hotsauce creamy.

Outside fill a Cajun pot half full and heat the oil to a bit over 400 degrees. When you add the chicken the temperature should drop to around 375. Make sure the chicken has been thoroughly defrosted and any water blotted off the chicken before carefully lowering it into the oil.

The chicken should cook to a light golden brown and float this should happen between 8 and 15 minutes depending on your meat selection. Once this happens remove one and check.

Just remember each following batch you put in will lower the oil temperature so you really want to keep it at a minimum of 375 so after removing a batch I would turn the heat to high to slow the heat loss. Just watch accordingly.

When the chicken is removed blot off any excess oil and add the wings to the crockpot for 5 minutes. After this you can remove and set aside and process the following batches the same.

Optional: The heat of the wings can be adjusted be letting some wings set a few minutes and then re-dipping in the crock pot to add additional layers of heat. I personally would not do more than two due to heat and time constraints.

Option 2: If you really want to go fancy and have a 2nd crock pot, you can dip the first crockpot as listed above and then dip in a second one that has bbq sauce as well.

Just stay safe and don't burn the house down rushing with hot grease. Especially keep the dog away. :)
