½ cup butter
3 large eggs
⅔ cup white corn syrup
⅔ cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1½ cups pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º
Unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Melt butter over medium heat and cook until brown.
Remove from heat and let stand until fairly cool

Beat eggs. Add syrup, sugar, vanilla and cooled butter.
Add pecans.

Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake for 10 minutes. Then reduce heat to 325º and bake for 50 to 55 minutes longer
