3/4 cup and 3 tablespoons of soy sauce (I use Maggi seasoning sauce which is more flavorful)
1/4 cup sherry
3 tablespoons sugar
1.5 tablespoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
1 tsp pepper flakes
6 one inch thick beef loin steaks sliced

Dipping Sauce
3 tablespoons soy sauce or maggi
1.5 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp sesame oil
3/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon of lime juice
1/2 tsp minced serrano pepper (remove seeds to reduce heat)
Directions:

For the marinade stir together the soy sauce, sherry, sugar, garlic, sesame oil, pepper flakes and put into a container with the meat and marinade for an hour or more.

During the time the meat is marinating, go ahead and prepare the dipping sauce by mixing the dipping sauce ingredients.

When ready cook in a wok until meat is tender.

P.S. just an FYI if you ever cook Korean or Vietnemese food, never leave out the lime juice, it always balances out the flavors.

Definitely not a German recipe, definitely not mine originally, but this one I came across a while back is definitely a keeper. This meal goes well with steamed rice and the Greek salad recipe on this site.
