1½ lbs. ground beef
1½ lbs ground pork
2 lbs. raisins
2 lbs. currants
2 lbs. sugar
1 lbs brown sugar
2 oranges, ground
2 lemons, ground
4 c. crushed pineapple
3 quarts of chopped apples
4 c. apple sauce
1 c. molasses
2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:

Brown ground beef and pork in a skillet, stir until crumbly drain. Grind in food grinder. Cook raisins and currants in water covering ingredients in a large saucepan over low heat until soft, drain. Add ground meat sugar, brown sugar, ground oranges, lemons, pineapple, apples, molasses, applesauce and seasoning. Cook for 12 minutes. Ladle into hot sterilized jars. leaving ½ inch head space. Seal with 2 piece lids. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes. The mixture can be frozen if desired.
