9 inch pie crust
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 tsp. salt
6 cups thin sliced tart apples

Crumb topping:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Stir together sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Add apple slices. Gently toss. Put into uncooked pie shell.

Mix Crumb Topping ingredients and sprinkle over apple mixture in shell.
Place on baking sheet. Cover with foil lightly.
Bake 15 minutes. Remove foil, bake additional 35 to 40 minutes.
