THE THINGS YOU WILL NEED

*Gather up the clothes to dress your scarecrow. We always used one of Dad's old shirts and a pare of jeans. You will need a hat too and a pillow case for the face. Don't forget the shoes. Be creative!
*Purchase a bale of hay from the feed store to set the scarecrow on by our front door
*Some extra pumpkins for decoration and corn stalks if you want.

Directions:
Directions:
*First we set the hay at the front door for the scarecrow to sit on. Next we stuffed the scarecrow’s pants with newspaper.
*Make a head by stuffing a an old pillowcase. I think we even used a pumpkin for the head once. Use felt pens to draw the face (or sew on colored pieces of cloth). Put a hat on top.
*If you want add a few pumpkins around for decoration and some corn stalks.
