1 cup marinara sauce
1/2 cup bite-size thinly sliced pepperoni
1/4 cup shredded fresh basil leaves
1 can (13.8 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated classic pizza crust
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (6 oz)
If desired...
1/2 lb bulk Italian pork sausage

Directions:

Heat oven to 425°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. In 10-inch skillet, cook sausage over medium heat, stirring frequently, until no longer pink; drain. Stir in 1/2 cup of the marinara sauce, the pepperoni and basil. Set aside.
Unroll dough. Cut dough in half crosswise; cut each section in half lengthwise. On cookie sheet, press or roll each dough portion into 7x5-inch rectangle. Spoon sausage mixture and cheese on one side of each rectangle. Fold dough over filling; press edges firmly with fork to seal.

Bake 15 to 17 minutes or until golden brown. Heat remaining 1/2 cup marinara sauce; serve with warm calzones
