1 C water
2 T butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
3 ¼ C bread flour
½ C sugar
1 tsp salt
3 tsp bread machine or active dry yeast

Directions:
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 375*F
2) Measure carefully and place ingredients into the bread machine pan in the order specified by manufacturer (or as listed); select Dough/Manual cycle
3) Remove dough from pan, using lightly floured hands; cover and let rest for 10 minutes on a lightly floured surface
4) Divide dough into 15 equal pieces, shape each piece into a ball, place 2” apart on cookie sheet; cover & let rise in a warm place 30-40 minutes
5) Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown
6) Brush tops with melted butter, if desired

These buns are the BEST. We use them for everything - sandwiches, burger buns, dinner rolls – they are AMAZING when served hot out of the oven. Sandwiches can be ‘slider’-sized or make a little larger for a batch of 8-10 sandwich buns.
