1 cup butter
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp almond extract
2 cups unsifted flour
1/2 tsp salt

frosting

1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp cocoa
2 tbsp hot water
1/2 tsp vanilla
almond 1/2s

Directions:
Directions:
cream butter , add sugar almond extract flour and salt.
roll heaping tsp of dough into a ball. ( if dough is too soft place in the fridge for a while)
place balls on a greased cookie sheet and flatten slightly .
Bake @ 400 for 10-12 minutes

Frosting
combine sugar and cocoa add hot water and vanilla . place a 1/2 tsp in each cookie and top with an almond
