2/3 cup walnuts or pine nuts
3 cloves garlic
3 cups fresh basil leaves
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
3/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 tsp. Kosher salt
Freshly ground pepper (to taste)

Directions:
Directions:
In a sautéed pan roast the nuts until slightly brown
Combine the nuts, basil, garlic, salt, pepper and cheese in a food processor.
Slowly add the olive oil and process until smooth.

Refrigerate. It will last 1 week in the fridge.
You can also freeze it too.

This is a such an easy pesto that is really good mixed with any kind of pasta.
