1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Crisco oil
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups and 3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 cup white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and put in refrigerator for 1 hour or longer. Roll in small balls, press down with glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 until brown.
