Ingredients:
1 slab pork ribs - cut horizontally so you get 3 pieces per rib (ask a grocery butcher to do this for you)
Salt and pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon chili sauce
2 teaspoons black bean sauce (also called tausi*)
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in 1/2 cup water
2-3 stalks Green onion, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Season pork ribs with salt (not as much as you think, because black bean sauce, or tausi sauce, is salty, and pepper
Heat cooking oil in wok or Dutch oven. Sauté garlic, then add pork ribs to brown. When brown, toss with chili sauce and black bean sauce until seasoned evenly. Add water and bring to a boil, then lower heat to simmer and continue cooking for about 1 hour until meat is soft and tender. Add cornstarch mixture to pork ribs and continue cooking until cornstarch is cooked. Finally, add green onions and cook until green onions are done. Serve hot. Enjoy!
