1 1/2 cups self rising meal
1 cup buttermilk
2/3 cup oil
3 chopped jalapenos
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup flour
2 eggs
1 cup whole kernel corn
1 chopped onion
1 chopped sweet green pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except cheddar cheese. Pour half batter in skillet. Sprinkle half cheese on batter. Pour in remaining batter, then sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake at 370 for 35 minutes.
