1 cup butter softened
2 1/2 cups sugar, divided
4 eggs
2 tsp vanillia extract
3 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups (16 oz) sour cream
2 tbsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl cream butter and 2 cups of sugar. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Add vanillia mix well. Combine the flour baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream

Spoon a third of the batter into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Combine the cinnamon, nuts and remaining sugar. Sprinkle a third over the batter in the pan. Repeat layers twice.

Bake at 350º for 65-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool for 10 min before removing from pan to a wire rack.
