Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Clara Strubel was Grandma Bertha Loran's sister. She took care of her parents until their passing and then went to business school in Wichita Falls and went to work for the Texas Highway Department. She retired from THD. She never married, but was another mother to the Loran children, Koenig children, Loran grandchildren AND great grandchildren. She was a beloved lady. Sister Andrea tells of the Christmas when Ralph was serving in the Army in France and Germany during WWII. Grandma Loran was so distraught and crying over Ralph's situation, so Aunt Clara bought everyone nice Christmas presents and came to cook and stay with the Loran family for the holiday.
