Ingredients:

2 cups natural bran
4 eggs
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 cup apple sauce
1 quart buttermilk
Mix together

Combine and mix together into above mixture
2 cups bran flakes
5 cups whole wheat flour
2 tbsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups raisins (or 1 cup raisins and 1 cup walnuts)


Directions:

Mix and store in fridge for at least 12 hours before baking, then use as needed.
Will keep in fridge for 1 to 2 months.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Our friend, Myrna worked as a nurse in a hospital, and a caregiver to seniors. These muffins were quick and nutritious
