12 lg. cabbage leaves, rinsed
1 lb. hamburger
1 c. cooked rice
1 tsp. sugar
1 onion, chopped fine
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
16 oz. can of tomato sauce
1 T. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
1 T. vinegar

Directions:
Wilt cabbage leaves by placing into boiling water for a few minutes. Remove and pat dry. Combine the first seven ingredients. Place equal portions of meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf. Roll leaf securely and fasten with toothpicks. Place rolls, seam side down, in buttered baking dish. Dot each roll with butter. Combine remaining 4 ingredients and mix well. Pour over the rolls and bake at 350º for 1 hour. Makes 6 servings.
