1 lb. ground beef
1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 C onion, diced
1 C mushrooms, sliced
¾ C bell pepper, diced
6 slices bacon
8 oz. spaghetti noodles, cooked
½ tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. Sugar
½ tsp. Oregano
1 C shredded cheddar cheese

Pre-heat oven to 350°. Fry bacon. Sauté garlic, onions, mushrooms and bell pepper in butter. Set aside. Brown and drain ground beef Return sautéed mixture to pan. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, seasonings and noodles. Simmer, covered, for I O minutes. Place in an oven safe, 2 qt. casserole or iron skillet and cover with cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Sprinkle broken up bacon pieces on top.
