Dough:
1 c. water
1/2 lb. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
flour, enough to stiffen dough

Cream Puff Filling:
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 t. salt
3 T. corn starch
2 egg yolks
2 c. milk (split into 2 separate cups)
softened cream cheese
3 oz. vanilla
2 T. butter
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, combine and bring dough mixture to boil; stir well. Remove from heat. Add flour to mixture, a little at a time, until stiff. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well. Press dough into 8 inch un-greased iron pan (with handle). Bake at 400º for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until brown. Remove to cooling rack when cool. Then, slice 1 inch layer off top, horizontally. Scoop out webbing.

To make filling: In medium pan, combine sugar, salt and corn starch; mix well. In a deep dish, beat egg yolks together until smooth; add milk and mix thoroughly. Add milk mixture to saucepan and add 1 more c. milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat when mixture begins to boil. Add cream cheese and butter. Chill filling mixture, then fill each puff.
