Layered Pineapple Salad Recipe

1 3-ounce lemon jello
1 cup hot water
1 cup pineapple chunks (drained and save juice)
2 large bananas sliced
16 large marshmallows quartered (or 64 miniature marshmallows)
1 cup cold water
1 cup pineapple syrup
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 egg well beaten
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup whipping cream
Chopped pecans

1. Dissolve jello in hot water. After dissolved add cold water.
2. Let cool and then add drained pineapple, bananas and marshmallows
3. Pour into oblong baking dish and chill
4. Combine remaining ingredients (except whipping cream) and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
5. Chill
6. Then fold in whipped cream (or you can use cool whip)
7. Spread over jello mixture
8. You can garnish with chopped nuts
