Boil 1½ lbs. country ham slices to make 6 cups broth

Directions:

Line cobbler pan with biscuit dough rolled thin. Add 4 cups hot broth. Carefully break 6 to 8 eggs in broth. Add black pepper to taste. Pour over crust. Bake on lower rack about 30 minutes at 400° until eggs are done and the top is brown. Add ham slices and 2 cup broth. Add top crust and bake until brown, 10 to 15 minutes. Take out of oven and add 1 cup milk.
