1¼ cup sifted flour
¾ teaspoon soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter
½ cup peanut butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup light brown sugar
1 egg

Heat oven to 350°.

Sift flour with baking soda and powder, Add salt and set aside.

In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat butter and peanut butter. Add the sugars gradually beat until light and fluffy. Beat in egg.

Add flour mixture until well combined. Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.

With a teaspoon, shape dough into balls about ¾-inch in diameter. Place on greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Flatten with fork making a criss­ cross pattern.

Bake 6 minutes.
