Pat Paver

1/4 cup soft butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 Tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 cup sorghum
2 Tbsp water
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups pecans

Preheat oven to 375.
In a large bowl, bend butter, sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon. Add sorghum and water and mix well. Add beaten eggs, vanilla and pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Let stand until nuts rise to the top.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until filling is set and nuts are browned.
Pie will look very deeply browned. This is due to the sorghum and is OK.
