German Potato Pancakes Recipe

6 potatoes
1/4 C Milk
2 Eggs
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 tsp Baking powder
2 TBSP Flour (if needed)
Sour cream
granulated sugar
maple syrup

1) Grind potatoes in a blender.
2) Place a sieve in a bowl and pour into the sieve to drain the water off
3) Pour water off and save the starch to immediately pour back onto the blended potatoes
4) Add eggs, milk, salt & pepper & Baking powder
5) If too watery, add flour
6) Once mixed to the proper consistency, place in frying pan to make pancakes.
7) When ready to serve, spread sour cream and sprinkle with sugar or spread sour cream and drip maple syrup over, or just maple syrup. Whatever your preference.
