1½ cups light brown sugar (packed)
6 tablespoons corn syrup l½ sticks margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
¾ teaspoon soda
12 cups popped popcorn
2 cups roasted peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, corn syrup and margarine in heavy saucepan and bring to boil on medium heat. Boil 5 minutes slowly. Remove from heat, add vanilla and soda, stir well. Gradually pour over popcorn and nuts stirring well. Stir from bottom of pan. Place on large sheet pans and bake at 200° for one hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Cool and store in air tight containers .
