2 cups sugar
1 cup Crisco
4 eggs
1½ cups flour
1 package mini marshmallows
¼ cup cocoa
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped
¼ teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Sift flour, cocoa and salt. Add to the sugar mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into greased and floured oblong pan and bake 20 minutes at 300°.

Take out of oven and put marshmallows on top. Return cake to oven for ten minutes at 350°. Cool completely, then ice with:

1 stick oleo
¼ cup cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
¼ cup cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans
