2 1/2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Light Corn Syrup
1/2 Cup Water
1/8 tsp Salt
2 Egg Whites
1 tsp. Vanilla
]1/2 to 1 Cup Chopped Walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Ina 3 quart casserole, combine sugar, syrup, water and salt. Microwave for 5 minutes. Stir well. Microwave 8-12 minutes until hard ball stage (use candy thermometer 260 degrees). Immediately beat the egg whites till stiff peaks last cooking time so they are ready). Slowly pour syrup over egg whites, beating with electric mixer. Add vanilla. Continue beating 4-5 minutes until it starts to lose its gloss. Fold in nuts. Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto parchment paper.
