1 15 oz. pkg. bran flakes
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs, well beaten
1 c. vegetable oil
1 qt. buttermilk
optional ingredients:
fresh or frozen berries

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients well. Place into prepared muffin tins and bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes. Batter will keep up to 6 weeks in refrigerator and can be pre-baked and frozen. Excellent either way!

Tip: Try mixing in fresh or frozen berries (coated with flour) before adding to batter.
