1/4 c. miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. half-and-half cream
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
dash of ground cinnamon
3 T. butter
optional toppings:
maple syrup, butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine chocolate chips and brown sugar; set aside. In a new bowl, beat flour, eggs, cream, nutmeg and cinnamon together until smooth. Place butter into a 9-inch pie plate, or an 8-inch cast iron skillet. Heat at 425º for 4 minutes or until melted. Pour batter into hot pie plate or skillet. Sprinkle with chocolate chip mixture. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes or until top edges are golden brown. Serve immediately with syrup and butter, if desired. Yield: 4 servings.
