10 oz pkg. frozen hash-brown potatoes, diced
1 tsp. garlic (sprinkle over hash-browns)
1 tsp. salt (sprinkle over hash-browns)
1 tsp. pepper (sprinkle over hash-browns)
1 stick butter
4 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
8 oz. cream cheese, cubed
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. sour cream
1 tsp. garlic (add to cheese mixture)
1 tsp. salt (add to cheese mixture)
1 tsp. pepper (add to cheese mixture)
8-12 oz cheddar cheese

In 9 x 13 pan:

Spread out:
frozen hash-brown potatoes, diced, sprinkle with 1 tsp each garlic salt and pepper.

In lg. saucepan:
Melt: butter, cubed Velveeta cheese, cubed cream cheese.

When melted, add: milk, sour cream, 1 tsp. each garlic salt and pepper, stir for a few minutes.

Pour melted cheese mixture over potatoes. Sprinkle 8-12 oz cheddar cheese on top.
Bake at 350º covered for 1 hour.
Take off cover. Bake another ½ hour uncovered.
