2 c. white sugar
2 c. margarine
2 eggs beaten
1 c. sour cream
1 c. sweet cream
1 tsp. baking powder (level tsp.)
1 tsp. baking soda (rounded tsp.)
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
6 c. flour (approximately)

Frosting:
½ stick butter
2 lbs. powdered sugar
little cream or milk (add to get right consistency)
food coloring
Sprinkles of your choice to decorate cookies

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Stir in the egg and sour cream. Then stir in the baking soda and salt. Gradually add the flour until dough becomes too difficult to stir. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface., roll the dough out to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Place cookies 1½ inches apart on unprepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 6 to 8 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies should be lightly browned at the edges. Remove from the baking sheets to cool on wire racks.

Frosting:
Cream together all ingredients - add enough milk or cream to reach desired consistency. Place frosting in small bowls, add food coloring of your choice, place frosting in frosting bag with tips to frost cut out cookies.
Decorate with sprinkles.
