1 cup butter
2/3 cup granulated cane sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour sifted
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar then beat in egg and vanilla. Combine the dry ingredients and add to butter mixture until dough is well mixed. Chill dough 2-3 hours before rolling. Preheat oven 350 º F.
Roll dough to 1/4 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters trying to get as many cookies out of dough as possible so as to not have to re roll more than once. Use as little flour as possible to roll the cookies. Bake on cookie sheet until lightly colored 8-10 minutes. You can ice them when they are completely cooled.
