1 pkg Phyllo dough thawed
2 cups finely chopped walnuts
2 1/2 cups sugar, divided
2 Tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 sticks butter melted
1 cup water
1/2 cup honey`
1 tbsp lemon juice

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 º F.
Mix walnuts, 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, Brush 13 x 9 baking dish with butter. Unfold dough. Remove 2 sheets leaving remaining dough covered with plastic wrap. Place sheets in bottom of dish. Fold edges neatly into dish. Brush with butter. Repeat layering 2 sheets and butter 3 more times making a total of four layers. Sprinkle 3/4 cup walnut mixture evenly over sheets. Top with 2 more sheets and brush with butter. Sprinkle 3/4 cups walnut mix over sheets and repeat 2 more sheets brushed with butter and last 3/4 cup walnut mixture.. Repeat layering 2 sheets and brushing with butter until all the sheets are used. Fold the edge of top sheet under to form a smooth top. Using a very sharp knife score lines in the top layers of dough, 2 inches apart lengthwise and crosswise to form squares. Score each square in half diagonally to form triangles.
Bake 45 minutes
To make syrup:
While baklava is baking in a saucepan mix remaining sugar, water, honey and lemon juice. Bring to a boil. Cook over low heat 10 minutes and allow to cool 30 minutes.
Gradually pour over hot baklava. Let cool and cut on score lines.
