1 cup butter
1/2 cup sifted confectioner's sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour sifted
1/4 tsp salt
1 cups finely chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400 F.
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Sift flour and salt together. Blend 1/3 of flour into butter mixture. With paddle on slow speed mix in rest of flour mixture and nuts until dough hold together. Form into 1 inch or slightly larger balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone baking mat.
Bake 12 -18 minutes until set and bottom of cookie is lightly brown. While still warm roll in confectioner's sugar . Cool completely and roll in confectioner's sugar again
