Mix with a beater:
flour, cream of tarter, salt, soda, butter & milk
In separate bowl:
1 cup sugar with 2 eggs added to it-beat together, also add a cap-full of almond extract, add this to dry mixture-chill dough-Roll it (add flour if needed-only small amount at a time) and cut out cookies
350º for 7-8 minutes
Powder Sugar, soft butter, hot water and a little almond extract
I start with ½ stick softened butter, about 2 c. powder sugar, ½ cap-full of almond extract and hot water to desired thickness. See how it tastes, and go from there.
*the almond extract is what makes these cookies so good!
