16 oz vanilla flavored candy coating OR white chocolate

1 box peppermint candy canes

Directions:
Directions:
-Cover cookie sheet with waxed paper, aluminum foil or cooking parchment paper. Melt candy coating over low heat.
-Place peppermint candies in heavy plastic bag; crush with rolling pin or bottom of small heavy saucepan. Pour crushed candies into melted candy coating and mix together.
-Pour mixture on to waxed paper and let stand until cool and hardened. Break apart in pieces and store in air tight container.
