2 lbs beef stew meat; cut up
1 c celery; cut up
3 carrots; cut in chunks
4 to 5 potatoes; cut in chunks
2 medium onions; chopped
2 to 2 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 slice bread; broken up
2 to 2 1/2 T tapioca
1 T sugar
1/2 can water
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 whole allspice

Directions:
Directions:
Place raw meat in bottom of roaster, then vegetables and bread. Add spices, then liquids. Cover and bake at 250 for about 5 1/2 hours.
