1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. cocoa powder
1/2 c. sugar
5 c. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
chocolate chips
raisins and nuts are optional
Glaze:
confectioners sugar
evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Blend Crisco, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and ground cloves. Add flour until you get the right consistency (about 5 cups).
Scald milk (do not burn) add warm milk to mixture and add chocolate chips (as many as you like).
Roll mixture into balls and place on baking sheet (use tablespoon size balls). Will look lighter and dry when done.

Glaze:
mix to desired consistency
dip warm cookies into glaze and set on wax paper. When somewhat dry, you may dip them again for a thicker coating.
